Ian Francis Hailes, from Perth Western Australia, has been privileged to teach the children of his former students. Teaching secondary boys, girls and coeducation, to all ages and ability groups.  He has experience as a curriculum developer, examiner, marker and tutor. He enjoys writing and presenting. His recent and current 'projects' include: the International Mathematical Modeling Competition (IM2C); writing Teaching & Learning modules for the STEM consortium; Mathematics Specialist Syllabus Delivery Audit for the  School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA); WA Selection Panel for National Mathematics Summer School (NMSS), facilitating PL.
